Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Lecturer located in Batu Kawan Penang, Malaysia. The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, conducting and supervising research, developing course materials, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include participating in academic meetings, contributing to curriculum development, grading assignments, and fostering a stimulating academic environment. The role also requires collaboration with industry partners and colleagues to maintain the high standards of UOW Malaysia’s educational offerings.

Qualifications

• PHD or Master's in Interior Architecture or relevant field.
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, and academic advising.
• Strong research skills and a track record of published work.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor and support students' academic and personal development.
• Experience in industry collaboration and outreach activities.
• Commitment to fostering a culture of sharing and service in academia.
• Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field (THIS IS A MUST).
• Experience in an international educational environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work as a team. The attitude is also equally important in the qualification.
• Qualification in Heritage/3D Max/Materials/Detailed Drawing is required.
