Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens is comprised of Tenby International School Setia Eco Gardens which offers a British education up to the IGCSE level, and Sekolah Tenby Setia Eco Gardens which offers the Malaysian National Curriculum at the Secondary level. The school caters to students aged 3 to 17 years from around the world. The school is focused on the holistic development of the students who attend to become global citizens who have the skills and confidence to compete globally.

ISP operates Asia Pacific Schools, Straits International Schools and Tenby Schools where we are strategically located covering the Klang Valley, Perak, Penang and Johor within Malaysia. Our experience in educational excellence helps us provide amazing learning experiences for students as young as 3 years up to 18 years old. The nine (9) ISP schools in Malaysia follow the international school curriculum comprising IGCSE and A‑levels, starting at the kindergarten level, while five (5) of the schools also offer the Malaysian National Curriculum. While the national and international schools and classrooms are separated, facilities and non‑curricular activities are shared between the schools. We are looking for a suitably qualified, inspirational, and experienced learning support / librarian with teaching responsibilities to join our forward‑thinking and dynamic teaching team.
This position willcommence in February 2026.
You will be supported by strong leadership, systems, and an outstanding professional development program.
The ideal candidate is one who is resourceful and innovative in their teaching approach. You are important in maintaining a high standard of teaching, inspiring the students to be actively interested in the subjects, and continuing to drive up performance.
Run the reading programme using Microsoft tools.
Reading support for National and International students.
Utilize various learning mediums (e.g., digital, visual, experiential learning) to accommodate different student learning preferences.
Maintaining and managing the library system to ensure accurate records and smooth daily operations.
Inspire and motivate students to strive for excellence and foster their self‑directed, independent, lifelong learning abilities.
Comply with teaching standards and legal requirements.
Effective communication skills are necessary to adapt teaching styles to student needs and levels, implement behaviour management programs, and provide additional support when needed.
Play an active role in the complete development of students, including participation in co‑curricular activities.
Attending parent‑teacher conferences.
Appropriate degree and teaching qualification e.g. Bachelor’s Degree with teaching qualification, PGDT/Diploma in Education OR relevant degree.
At least two (2) years of experience in library services or library administration.
Strong commitment and passion for education and concern for students’ welfare.
PC literate and able to use multimedia resources in the classroom.
Highly motivated, full of initiative, disciplined, and responsible.
