The coordinator will lead employee engagement initiatives to strengthen workplace culture, collaboration, and retention. Additionally, ensures smooth execution of all training and engagement initiatives while maintaining accurate records and compliance with HRD Corp requirement
Function and duties
Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Overall responsible for employee engagement in the organization
- Ensuring circulation of alerts, creating excitement and motivation around employee events as per schedule/ HR Calendar including building quality of event
- Prepare Engagement budget and ensure effective utilization of the same.
- Responsible for initiating, running & replacing employee committees
- Responsible for conducting fun events like Annual Day and Sports Day
- Plans, organizes and executes Events and Activities of festive and birthday celebrations
Reward & Recognition
- Prepare R&R budget and ensure effective utilization of the same
- Organizing and conducting weekly/monthly R&R
- Sharing monthly reconciliation on award utilization
- Ensure that awards are as per the criterion defined
- Responsible for R&R audit
- Procurement and dissemination of R&R gifts, awards and trophies
Employee Surveys
- Designing and Managing Employee Climate Survey
- Analyzing survey findings and action plan implementation
Training Coordination
- Coordinate all training programs with external trainers, vendors, and service providers.
- Manage training schedules, invitations, attendance lists, venue booking, equipment setup, and participant communication.
- Ensure learning materials and resources provided by external trainers are prepared and distributed.
HRDF / HRD Corp Management
- Handle all HRDF claims, grant applications, and related documentation.
- Ensure training programs meet HRD Corp compliance and eligibility requirements.
- Liaise with HRD Corp representatives, external trainers, and internal stakeholders to manage claim submissions.
- Maintain accurate records of HRDF-claimable programs and monitor fund utilization.
General HR Support
- Support HR operations during onboarding, employee activities, and other HR-related initiatives.
- Maintain updated training and HRDF documentation.
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Learning and Development or Organizational Development.
- Proven experience handling HRDF/HRD Corp claims and processes.
- Proven experience in employee engagement or HR events coordination is an advantage.
- PC literacy in MS office -Word, Excel & PowerPoint is essential
