About the job Lead QA Automation Engineer

Project:

• You will be working closely with the Head of Engineering in KL
• Be the key driver in designing and implementing the entire QA automation architecture and process flow from the ground up your decisions will shape how the QA team ships, scales, and innovates.

Responsibilities

• Implement QA automation practices, tools, frameworks, architecture, automation, integrations and processes
• Analyse business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for improvement
• Coaching and mentor junior QA providing guidance on test design, automation scripting and troubleshooting.
• Drive innovation in testing processes, introducing tools or methods that improve test effectiveness and reduce cycle time.

Must Have:

• Experienced in a lead QA automation role.
• Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwrite, etc.)
• Experience in testing APIs, micro-services and front-end applications
• Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience setting up a QA automation framework from the ground up

Nice to have / Bonus:

• Experience developing automated scripts for fintech products
• Prior experience as a software engineer

Team / Culture:

• Head of Engineering has 10+ years fintech experience
• Work with little supervision and contribute ideas / expertise and take ownership
• Work closely with the existing manual testers (KL & SG) and potentially build a team in the future
