Job Purpose
To lead and manage the Sales & Marketing section in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening brand positioning, and developing strategic business opportunities aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline and conversion rates.
- Lead key negotiations, pricing strategy and contract closure.
- Manage key accounts and strategic customers.
2. Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital & conventional).
- Strengthen brand awareness and market positioning.
- Focus and promote on AKAL facilities.
- Oversee marketing content, promotional materials and corporate communications.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
3. Business Development
- Identify new markets, customer segments and growth opportunities.
- Lead proposal development, tenders and presentations.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Support new product or service development and market entry.
4. Team Management & Capability Development
- Lead, coach and develop sales & marketing team members.
- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews and manage staff productivity.
- Ensure alignment of team activities with departmental objectives.
5. Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis and customer insights.
- Track industry trends, pricing benchmarks and customer needs.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management based on data analysis.
6. Budget, Reporting & Governance
- Manage sales & marketing budget and cost efficiency.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
7. Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, HR and Product teams.
- Align customer expectations with service delivery and operational capability.
