Job summary

A dynamic M&E consultancy firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking Associates (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer) to lead engineering teams and oversee designs for diverse projects. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 10 years of experience in M&E engineering design and project management. Strong skills in mechanical and electrical calculations, project coordination, and communication are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM and knowledge of Mandarin are advantageous. This position requires individuals who are adaptable, self-motivated, and ready to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering design and project management.
• Able to coordinate, supervise and liaison with Clients, Consultants, Authorities and Contractors.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering consultancy design team and resident engineer team.
• Perform mechanical and electrical calculations and planning.
• Liaise with local authorities and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Oversee overall project implementation from start to final hand over.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
