Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution: Facilitate collaboration among cross‑functional team members to ensure alignment with project budgets, requirements, deadlines, and schedules. Oversee and coordinate project teams in the development of design documentation.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and plans for all machinery, equipment, and weighing systems to ensure operational reliability.
• Strategic Planning: Assess the need for equipment and machinery upgrades and modernization initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend asset longevity.
• Financial Management: Develop and oversee Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expense (OPEX) budgets for the Engineering and Facility Department.
• Compliance & Improvement: Exercise overall control over the implementation of engineering procedures and systems to drive continuous improvement. Engage with key Government Authorities (e.g., KPDNHEP, Bomba, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) to secure necessary approvals and renewals.
• Comply with any requirement on related OH&S and Environmental Management System instituted by MSM and/or compliance obligation/legal requirement.
