- Support new business initiatives by assessing their impact on supplier quality and communicating findings effectively.
Operational & Task Management
- Lead the APQP process for new product development, providing data‑driven guidance and driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Testing teams to define and build process capabilities that meet product requirements.
- Oversee product launches to ensure designs and documentation meet quality and customer satisfaction standards.
- Educate cross‑functional teams on quality roles and responsibilities, and manage root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues.
- Champion the use of quality tools such as DFMEA, APQP, risk analysis, and root cause methodologies.
- Monitor product quality risks and report commercial impacts to leadership.
- Stay informed on industry changes affecting product development and field performance, and advise management accordingly.
- Capture and share lessons learned across teams, and conduct benchmarking to identify best practices and future trends.

Education & Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related sciences
- At least 7 years of experience in quality engineering or a closely related field
- Specialised Skills & Training
- Solid understanding of ISO standards, PPAP, and other quality systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through influence and collaboration
- Maintains composure and perspective under pressure
- Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Willingness to travel to current and prospective supplier locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer products or similar industries
- Quality certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQM, or equivalent

- Familiarity with electronics and manufacturing processes
- Experience conducting supplier assessment audits
- Knowledge of UL1017 or comparable regulatory standards
