Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lab Assistant / Lab Technician (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply) at our Shah Alam facility. The Lab Assistant / Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, operating laboratory equipment, and performing various laboratory tasks. Duties include preparing samples, recording and analyzing data, ensuring laboratory safety, and supporting the development of new products through experimental procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the research and development team with analytical tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To comply with the International ISO 9001: 2015 & 14001: 2015 Standard.
• To fully use PPE supply by the management.
• To be conscious of any Environmental, safety and health awareness related to EMS.
• To segregate general wastes and schedule wastes according to EMS.
• To keep the environment clean and to minimize environmental impacts.
• To conduct practical/application test for water-based & hot melt adhesive.
• To understand well application process and equipment for water-based & hot melt adhesive.
• To prepare test specimens and conduct test on customer samples.
• To prepare and provide product samples for the Sales & Marketing Department.
• To operate and maintain Lab equipment.
• To assist Chemists on compounding new products or formulations.
• To conduct continuous monitoring on products under observation and establish records.
• To assist on filing and documentation in the laboratory.
• To prepare relevant laboratory reports.
• To assure and maintain (5S) housekeeping the environmental cleanliness of laboratory.
• To assist on troubleshooting on application problems for water-based & hot melt.
• To accountability & responsible for the company on any/all duties assigned to you.
• To perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
