Job description
Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets for assigned customers and brands.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders (e.g., category heads, buyers, merchandising, supply chain, finance).
  • Propose and lead strategic initiatives to accelerate growth, enhance category penetration, and increase product visibility across physical and e-commerce channels.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key customers in alignment with the brand’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Manage product listings and launches to ensure optimal sell-through.
  • Drive commercial negotiations and sales operations to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sell-in, sell-out, inventory, and competitor activities; collaborate with marketing to address gaps.
  • Perform ROI analysis on major promotions and trade investments; recommend improvements.
  • Plan and monitor trade marketing funds (A&P) to support promotional activities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to ensure stock availability and prevent out-of-stock situations.
  • Resolve conflicts to maintain strong partnerships between KMM and principal brands.
  • Identify market opportunities for new brands and categories.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Personal Care, Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceutical (OTC), or FMCG industries.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing key accounts or pharmacy chains in Malaysia (e.g., Watsons, Guardian, Caring, Alpro).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities for project execution.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to identify alternative approaches.
  • Digital savvy; proficient in MS Office and Power BI.
  • Experience in Joint Business Planning and category management is an advantage.
