Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell its product portfolio. This role involves developing strong relationships with customers, forecasting sales trends, and collaborating with Marketing for effective promotions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a diploma, a passion for sales, and at least one year of field experience. The company offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven track record in sales is an advantage.

Job description

Delivers sales volume achievement and market share by developing strong business partnerships with customers in stores.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell our portfolio of products to outlets/customers for stores.
• Evaluate and anticipate needs of the outlets/customers, recommend win-win solutions and build productive long lasting relationships.
• Forecast sales & trends and develop more effective sales plans to deliver on Sales strategies.
• Actively look for opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
• Work closely with Marketing to execute top-notch promotions and activation.
• Constantly maintain highest standards of execution and ensure brand presence & product availability.
• Gather insights and feedback on market trends to improve Sales performance.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in any field
• At least 1 year field sales experience preferably in an FMCG environment
• Highly passionate about sales; with a proven track record is best
• Has a good understanding of different sales techniques
• Strong communication, negotiation/influencing and interpersonal skills
• Driven, outgoing and is a self-starter
• Comfortable with numbers and is IT literate (Microsoft Excel, etc)
• Must possess a valid full driving license. A Goods Driver's License (GDL) is an added advantage
• Mobile and must be prepared to be transferred
