Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Corporate Finance team at RHB Investment Banking. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity and debt capital markets, and advisory services. You will collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients, assisting with financial analysis, valuation modeling, due diligence, and the preparation of client presentations and transaction documentation.

What you will be doing
  • To provide support to the team wherever and whenever required to ensure mandates are executed efficiently
  • To ensure work undertaken is of the highest quality and does not fall foul of any regulatory or legal requirements and internal rules and compliance requirements
  • To support the team leader and manager to execute mandates in a timely and efficient manner
  • To protect the reputation and integrity of the department, the Investment Bank and the Group
  • To be proficient with all relevant guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • To ensure work is executed expeditiously and within deadline
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 1-3 years working experience in Investment Banking industry, legal or auditing.
  • Good planning and organizational skills

  • Driven and passionate of his/her profession
  • Strong interest in the activity and development of thecapital markets, especially in Malaysia
  • Strong knowledge of the capital market's rules, requirements and regulations
