A leading auto parts trading company based in Puchong is seeking passionate Junior Software Developers for both Front-End and Back-End roles. You will work closely with the Business Process Automation Team to develop scalable applications and ensure exceptional user experiences. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or related fields, with skills in C#, .NET Core, HTML, and JavaScript. The company offers a fully on-site work environment with standard hours from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in front-end development using Angular, React, Vue or Next.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating with backend engineers for API integration.

Overview

Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading – Puchong New Village

Our #MKADigitalizationTeam is expanding! We are looking for passionate Junior Software Developers (Front-End Developer & Back-End Developer) to join us. You will work closely with our Business Process Automation Team to build scalable applications, deliver exceptional user experiences and contribute to digital transformation within the Group.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building our backend APIs and ensuring code quality. This role would be ideal if your career aspiration is to grow into a complete full stack developer in the future.

Backend Developer – Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web portals (MVC) and backend APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve system issues.
• Research and implement new features, technologies and integrations.
• Maintain, monitor and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers for API integration.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Backend Developer – Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, MySQL, Postgres, Redis and cloud services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, LDAP, JWT, API gateway, Microsoft Graph API and system integrations (Payment Gateway, e-Invoice, SAP/ERP).
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS.
• Solid understanding of Clean Code and SOLID principles.
• Strong SQL knowledge; performance tuning is a plus.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.

• Knowledge of Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for new technologies and innovative solutions.

Front-End Developer – Responsibilities

• As a Front-End Developer, you will build responsive, interactive and visually engaging web applications, integrating with backend APIs while ensuring excellent UI/UX.
• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Vue, Angular, or Next.js.
• Create intuitive, responsive and optimized user interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across browsers and devices.
• Implement interactive features and modern visual effects.
• Maintain and optimize page speed and performance.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and complete product development.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

Front-End Developer – Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in front-end development using Angular, React, Vue or Next.js.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating with backend engineers for API integration.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket.
• Experience with Angular, React, Vue, or Next.js.
• Familiarity with Webpack/Babel and design tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Good communication skills and a positive, problem-solving mindset.
