Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior and Senior Legal Executive to join our Legal Team in the fintech industry. The role will focus on supporting corporate maintenance, assisting with licensing matters, and providing general support across a wide range of legal and regulatory activities. This position offers strong exposure to regulatory and corporate work, with opportunities for professional development in a fast-moving sector.

Responsibilities
  1. Corporate Maintenance & Governance
    • Maintain legal and statutory records, registers, governance documents and database.
    • Coordinate with external service providers and regulators as required.
    • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide insights to the team to ensure continued compliance.
  2. Licensing Support
    • Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory applications and renewals.
    • Track submission deadlines and reporting calendars.
    • Compile supporting materials and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
    • Support post-licensing filings and compliance obligations, to ensure the continued compliance of the relevant ongoing obligation.
  3. Documentation & Knowledge Management
    • Organize and maintain Legal Department’s document repository.
    • Ensure systematic archiving of agreements and compliance documents.
    • Improve document accessibility and audit trail.
  4. Team Support
    • Provide research and administrative support to the Legal Team.
    • Assist with miscellaneous legal and regulatory matters as assigned.
    • Support cross-department initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
  5. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong research skills and ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory matters.
  • Ability to communicate legal information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based file management systems
  • Proactive and eager to learn about licensing and regulatory matters in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin
