• Prior audit experience is a plus.

Job Description

• Provide day-to-day financial and accounting support to operational teams.
• Manage full sets of accounts, including account receivable/payable (AR/AP) and general ledger (GL) closing activities.
• Prepare and submit GST returns on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of group consolidation accounts and financial statements.
• Support the preparation of group quarterly financial announcements and forecast financial statements.
• Participate in corporate exercises as may be required by management.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and solicitors to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements.
• Ensure all financial records are compliant with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• A Degree or Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience for the Junior role, and 5 years for the Senior role with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Prior audit experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point) and familiar with accounting software. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore financial reporting, tax and regulatory requirements is a bonus.
• Experience in listed companies or involvement in corporate exercises will be an added advantage.
• Strong multitasking abilities, commitment, and a sense of urgency towards deadlines.
• An analytical mindset, discipline, and the ability to work independently.
• Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
