Job Description
- Provide day-to-day financial and accounting support to operational teams.
- Manage full sets of accounts, including account receivable/payable (AR/AP) and general ledger (GL) closing activities.
- Prepare and submit GST returns on a quarterly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of group consolidation accounts and financial statements.
- Support the preparation of group quarterly financial announcements and forecast financial statements.
- Participate in corporate exercises as may be required by management.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and solicitors to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements.
- Ensure all financial records are compliant with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
- A Degree or Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience for the Junior role, and 5 years for the Senior role with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Prior audit experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point) and familiar with accounting software. Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Singapore financial reporting, tax and regulatory requirements is a bonus.
- Experience in listed companies or involvement in corporate exercises will be an added advantage.
- Strong multitasking abilities, commitment, and a sense of urgency towards deadlines.
- An analytical mindset, discipline, and the ability to work independently.
- Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
