Junior Sales Executive - Northern Region (Start ASAP)

Join Shopee’s dynamic Business Development team to drive F&B merchant acquisition and growth in Malaysia’s Northern Region.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Acquire and activate F&B merchants across assigned areas (phone, online, face-to-face) to meet outlet sign-up targets.
  • Prioritize high-potential outlets and explore underserved sub-areas for expansion.
  • Maintain and update the sales funnel for accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
  • Submit all merchant paperwork, onboarding forms, and reports timely and accurately.
  • Record and report on-ground insights, merchant/competitor feedback, and elevate actionable items.
  • Identify competitor activity and recommend quick-win actions to protect and grow ShopeeFood’s presence.
  • Support account management and cross-functional teams with handovers and merchant follow-through.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Based in Northern Region (Penang, Perak, Perlis, Kedah).
  • SPM / Diploma (any field); Business, Commerce, or Marketing is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates or up to 1–2 years’ experience (sales, FMCG, or telco preferred but not required).
  • Interest in e-commerce and digital payments.
  • Good presentation skills and basic business acumen.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages, e.g., English, Malay, and Chinese.
  • Flexible to work on-ground during peak periods or as business needs require.
  • Right attitude: eager to learn, coachable, resilient, and target-driven.
