Job scope:This position will service external and internal clients with specific responsibility to analyze the key business markets pain points, interviewing key industry players and inviting speakers to our international conferences.

Position: Junior Research Associate
Nature of business: Event Services firm
Location: Plaza Sentral
Working days & hours: Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Job Function: Organize event
Salary range: RM3,000 - RM5,000 (depend on experience)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Research outputs encompassing data collection, interpretation, analysis, reports or papers, presentations and client recommendations
• Maintaining and building databases of clients who were researched
• Cold calling potential speakers for research and inviting to speak on our global programs
• Negotiating with speakers
• Content writing
• Running the conference

What you will need to succeed:

• Ability to think logically and creatively
• Report writing skills
• Presentation to management
• A high standard of analytical skills and computer literacy (particularly Word & Excel)
• The ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision along with a capacity to build robust relationships with diverse stakeholders is essential.
