A leading automotive service center in Shah Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a qualified technician to repair and maintain vehicles according to established standards. Candidates should have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the automotive sector, ideally with Continental vehicles or Mercedes-Benz. Strong skills in diagnostics and troubleshooting, along with SKM Level 1, 2, or 3 certification, are required. Incentives provided, and candidates should work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
1. Repair and maintain vehicles in accordance with established standards.
2. Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and work area at all times; ensure the area is tidy and well-organized.
3. Take proper care of tools and special tools; return them to their designated places after use.
4. Complete the provided job scope sheet for each vehicle.
5. Ensure clock setting, service sticker placement, and service reset are completed after servicing.
6. Perform initial diagnostics to identify vehicle issues.
7. Carry out routine servicing such as engine oil, brakes, tyres, filters, and related items.
8. Repair mechanical and electrical components including engine, transmission, suspension, and electronic systems.
9. Use diagnostic tools (e.g. Xentry, Launch, etc.) correctly, carefully, and accurately.
10. Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks on vehicles before handover to customers.
11. Ensure all repair work meets the required quality standards.
12. Maintain workplace safety in accordance with company SOPs.
13. Assist colleagues with technical tasks or heavy work when required.
14. Accurately record spare parts usage and repair work performed.
15. Comply with company SOPs and continuously improve skills through training.
Must possess SKM Level 1, 2, or 3 certification in the Automotive field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably handling Continental vehicles / Mercedes-Benz.
Strong skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and the use of specialized automotive equipment.
In-depth knowledge of engine, electrical, braking, suspension systems, and Mercedes-Benz components.
Able to work independently, disciplined, and punctual.
Maintain consistent work quality and comply with Mercedes-Benz brand standards.
