Job description
1. Clinical Excellence & Patient Management
  • Direct Patient Care: Lead the delivery of high-quality clinical care across Klinik Amal Percuma (KAP) units, overseeing the assessment and management of outpatients, day-care patients, and admissions.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the primary clinical responder for medical emergencies involving patients, staff, or visitors, ensuring stabilized care in the absence of a consultant.
  • Clinical Procedures: Execute specialized clinical tasks, including non-routine phlebotomy, IV cannulation, and catheterization.
  • Medical Documentation: Maintain rigorous standards for medical record-keeping, ensuring all assessments, diagnostic findings (ECG, CXR, Lab), and treatment plans are documented with precision.
2. Interdisciplinary Collaboration
  • Cross-Unit Synergy: Foster a collaborative environment between Cardiac, KAP, and Dialysis units to ensure seamless operational flow.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact between Medical Officers, Specialists, Nursing, Radiography, and Management teams.
  • Administrative Integration: Partner with the Pharmacy and Billing departments to guarantee accurate medication counseling and financial transparency for patients.
3. Clinical Governance & Compliance
  • Standardization: Uphold evidence-based clinical practices and ensure strict adherence to international infection control protocols.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Implement and follow all organizational policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as mandated by management.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee clinical census tracking and the integrity of patient filing systems.
4. Professional Development & Knowledge Sharing
  • Continuing Education: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and participate in all mandatory institutional training.
  • Mentorship: Facilitate clinical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the team's collective expertise.
5. Reporting & Administrative Oversight
  • Performance Metrics: Generate comprehensive monthly reports and KAP performance analytics for executive review.
  • Workflow Management: Supervise the processing of diagnostic results, discharge summaries, and patient follow-up schedules to ensure continuity of care.
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to the development and revision of departmental SOPs and fully utilize clinical information systems.
  • Community Engagement: Actively support the foundation’s mission through participation in donation drives, health screenings, and public health initiatives.
Job Requirement:
  • Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) or an equivalent degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council
  • Minimum of five years' experience
  • Active Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
