Job summary

A data center management company is seeking a legal professional to assist in administrative tasks, manage contracts, and support claims management. Responsibilities

Assist in administrative work for land acquisition matters, including but not limited to liaising with internal stakeholders and external legal counsels and arranging the required corporate documents;

Assist in company secretarial works, including but not limited to updating corporate documents/CCM pertaining to Malaysian entities;

Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial/operational agreements, including but not limited to colocation service agreement, procurement agreement, construction agreement, land purchase/lease agreement, consultancy agreement and other legal-related documents;

Assist in the Company’s claims and litigation/arbitrations;

Attend to internal stakeholders' queries, including but not limited to:

  • Stamping contracts with the Inland Revenue Board
  • Audit and due diligence matters
  • Employment and labour matters

Attend to legal repository work (where needed);

Other work as might be assigned by the regional legal team leader.

Requirements

Minimum qualification of a Degree in Law from a recognized university;

Admission to the Malaysian Bar is required.

Minimum 3 years and above of relevant working experience, could be in-house and/or private practice.

Highly responsible, thorough, good team player with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team, and committed to strong professional ethics and integrity.
