Job Title: Junior Accountant

Expected Salary: RM2,500 - RM3,000 per month

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and assist with audit preparations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Up to 1 year of practical experience in accounting.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, and auditing processes.
