• Maintain and manage the company’s servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor network infrastructure, troubleshooting issues related to connectivity and performance.
• Implement and manage firewall and network security protocols to protect company assets.
• Provide technical support to staff, assisting with hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for critical data.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to execute updates and system improvements.
• Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
• Assist in setting up technical equipment for production, including rendering farms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to IT in the CG field.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role, ideally in the CG or entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of server maintenance, firewall management, and network security practices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) and network protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Certification in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco) is a plus.
