Job summary

A technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support to users while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in IT, and at least 2 years of IT support experience. Responsibilities include maintaining servers, assisting in cloud service monitoring, and enforcing IT security measures. Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 is required, along with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Min 2 years of IT support experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
  • Awareness of IT security best practices (passwords, MFA, phishing).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to users and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in maintaining Windows servers and Active Directory under guidance.
  • Support basic network operations including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity.
  • Enforce IT security policies and monitor antivirus updates.
  • Maintain records of IT assets and software licenses.
  • Assist in monitoring cloud services and perform routine backup checks.
