An organizational body in Malaysia is seeking an IT Support professional to ensure daily operations of hardware, software, and network systems. Responsibilities include maintaining support records, assisting with vendor quotations, and executing IT projects within deadlines. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin. This position requires working on weekdays and alternate Saturdays.
Ensure the normal day to day operations and support of the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of hardware, software, system application, POS, CCTV, emails, server, printers, backup/recovery and network infrastructure (Windows).
Maintain proper preventive maintenance records and ensure works carryout compliance with SOP.
Review and uphold documentation pertaining to ISO standard and procedures.
Assist in preparing tenders or invited quotation from vendors.
Work as a team to plan and execute IT projects (Upgrades, Migration and etc) within a timeframe given.
To deliver timely services according to the requirements and meet the service level.
Maintain high level of satisfaction with a polite, efficient, well presented and timely service.
Handle and store all data with integrity & confidentially.
Undertake other assigned tasks on a daily basis.
Preparation and updating of presentation materials as required by the management and committee for use in meetings and events
Assist in the handling of any related IT Devices such as PABX phone, Photocopiers, attendance systems, monitors and etc
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in Computer Science/ Information technology or similar
Must have at least 1+ years’ experience in IT support and systems maintenance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Strong analysis skills, attention to detail, teamworking skill.
Required candidate to read and write in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
Willing to respond to network and server errors after office hours.
Require to work on Mondays- Fridays and Alternate Saturdays (2 Saturdays / Month).
