A leading financial institution in Malaysia seeks an IT Service Management professional to oversee Change Management processes. The role involves ensuring changes are documented, evaluated, and authorized efficiently. Candidates must have a minimum Diploma in Computer Science and 2-3 years of IT experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite for reporting and analytics, coupled with strong communication skills, is essential. This role offers an opportunity to enhance IT practices in alignment with ITIL standards.
Responsible for the overall quality of the Change Management process and accountable for day-to-day operation and maintenance of IT Change Management processes, standards, methods, and tools in support of IT and Business Unit strategies.
Overall Responsibilities
Responsible to ensure that changes are efficiently and effectively recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, planned, tested, implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled fashion.
Liaises with and supports business unit, project, and IT support staff to utilize and continuously improve IT Change Management practices inline with the ITIL best practice framework.
Develops and maintains IT Change Management principles, standards, plans, and procedures and their implementation within the agreed-upon scope.
Provides guidance, answers questions, and guides staff in the correct use of the change process and identifies training requirements, and provides training for staff if necessary. Schedules and chairs Change Advisory Board meetings and coordinates urgent changes among the IT support team.

Assists auditors with auditing the activities of the Change Management function for compliance with established procedures and IT control framework.
Responsible to generate weekly change log close reports and regular monthly management reports related to process outcomes and KPI reporting on the effectiveness of Change Management.
Jobholder Requirements:
Min Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
2-3 Years of working experience in the IT field.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office/G-Suite on reporting analytics and presentations.
Good verbal, written communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
