IT Senior Executive – Network & Technical (OVERALL FLEET MANAGEMENT SDN BHD)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise or lead junior IT staffs and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet operational objectives.
- Provide daily operational support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, wireless systems, and end-user devices.
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and incident resolution within SLA timelines.
- Support and participate in IT projects, including system implementation, deployment, and upgrades.
- Conduct daily server health checks and perform scheduled monthly/quarterly maintenance, patching, backup, and data restoration.
- Manage and support server environments, including physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, and monitoring solutions.
- Provide Level 1 network support for LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, routers, switches and IP PBX systems.
- Monitor, support, and implement wireless infrastructure, including access points and wireless controllers.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Prepare IT documentation, reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Provide after-hours or on-call support when required.
Requirements
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in an IT environment.
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows platforms.
Technical Skills
- Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP
- Networking knowledge with hands‑on experience in: Routers (Layer 3), Switches (Layer 2, POE & non‑POE), VPN and VLAN
- Firewall and wireless solutions (Fortinet Firewall, Forti AP, Extreme switches, Dell switches, Ruijie switches or equivalent)
- Sophos Endpoint Protection & XDR
- Virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware) and Linux systems
- Backup solutions (Veeam, Synology, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN and enterprise wireless infrastructure.
- Familiar with IP PBX systems (Level 1 support).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information
Relevant certifications (MCSE, CompTIA Network+, ITIL, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
