A leading insurance company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic IT projects. In this role, you will manage key projects, define scopes and deliverables, and communicate progress to upper management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, with at least 6 years of experience, including 3 years in IT software development. A PMP or PRINCE II certification is preferred, and excellent communication skills are essential for stakeholder management.
Job Function: The Project Manager main function is to manage organization’s key projects. Responsibilities include the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing of the projects. The Project Manager will work directly with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the agreed time, scope and budget. The Project Manager prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
This role reports to the Head of IT PMO, and would also require to provide support and adequate assistance in the area of Project Management governance and other responsibilities related to PMO functions, where deemed necessary.
