Project Manager (Tech & AI-Driven Initiatives)

Lead High-Impact Digital Transformations at an AWS Premier Partner

Your Mission

• Orchestrate end-to-end delivery of complex tech projects (AI, cloud, data) on time and within budget
• Bridge business and tech by translating stakeholder needs into actionable project plans
• Champion innovation by integrating AWS services and GenAI into project solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and review success metrics to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects
• Assess consolidated project plans for dependencies, gaps and continued business value
• Estimate budgetary needs based on the project scope and anticipate future budget challenges
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and develop project plan
• Oversee program implementation and evaluate and address external business environment changes for impact on project scope
• Facilitate daily stand-up and sprint reviews to achieve team consensus
• Refine and manage the product backlog
• Document and track project scope, changes, issues and risks that affect implementation, using JIRA and/or MS Project
• Plan and manage project compliance requirements and adherence to governance structures
• Plan and manage project closure and/or transitions
• Eliminate conflicts and assist in developing solutions to manage roadblocks
• Conduct project reviews to recommend changes to project schedules, cost or resource requirements, including review of AWS resource optimization
• Facilitate discussions, problem solving and conflict resolution among the project team members, and between the business and technical team
• Manage communication and collaboration with clients, vendors and partners
• Develop initiatives to support the continuing competence and professional development of the team
• Develop junior project managers through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
• Manage project budget, work allocations, manpower and resourcing needs for the team, and transparent project reporting to the leadership team
• Drive performance management practices within the team in accordance with organisational policies and procedures

What You Bring

• 5+ years in tech project management (cloud/AI projects preferred)
• PMP or Agile certifications (or equivalent practical experience)
• Tool mastery: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Slack
• Strategic thinking to maneuver the team and direction along the project progress
• Balance of analytical planning and collaborative communication
• Governance-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Own outcomes and rally teams to deliver
• AI Curious: excited to explore GenAI for PM efficiency gains

Qualifications
