Job summary

A technology firm located in Bayan Lepas, Penang is seeking an AX & ERP system administrator. Key responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency of IT operations, supporting and monitoring hardware and software, and maintaining documentation and inventory. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Information Technology and have at least two years of experience in ERP systems. Proficiency in Mandarin will be a plus for coordinating with vendors in China.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Microsoft AX or other ERP system administrator.
• Familiarity with ERP modules, configuration, system integration/upgrades, and interface development.
• Good communication skills to manage users at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Recommend IT operational procedures and security policies.

Job description

AX & ERP system administrator. Responsible for daily operation to administer, support and maintain IT related infrastructure to ensure effective and continuous operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Undertake andrecommend IT operational procedures and security policies ensuring compliance with standard and best practices

2. Ensure efficiency in PC Software, ERP, hardware support and availability of network infrastructure for WAN and LAN communication within the companies.

3. Monitor, identify and resolve technical problems, and administer IT related hardware/software problems to meet users' expectations.

4. Maintain all IT related inventory and software licensing control

5. Maintain appropriate technical documentation , system manuals and procedure

6. Supervise and work with vendors to ensure projects are implemented as per specification and on time.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, with minimum 2 years experience as Microsoft AX or other ERP system administrator.

2. Familiar with ERP modules, front end/back-end configuration and system integration/upgrades & interface development.

3. Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to manage user of different levels.

4. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

5. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to coordinate with China-based teams of vendors.
