Position: IT Developer

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

• Dashboard development, ETL job execution, GL interfaces error detection as pilot tasks
• Part of SSC Transformation built-up
• Use Visual Basic in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
• Alteryx Developers design and build ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to prepare and clean data from various sources.
• Workflow Design and Automation: build and test Alteryx workflows to automate data processes, such as data blending and data quality checks.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Create data models and sets for visualization tools, like Tableau, and generate reports and dashboards.
• Documentation and Collaboration: Create documentation for workflows, data dictionaries, and share best practices with other team members.

Qualifications

• BE / B. tech in Computer science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
• Prior experience to solid SQL, Python and Power BI experience
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience to AS400
• Prior experience to finance & accounting related projects
• Prior exposure to the insurance industry and its operations is preferred.
