About the Job
The IT Service IT Config Management Manager is a specialist at managing parts of IT Assets and Configuration within Great Eastern, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, integrity and compliance with internal policies.

  • Conducts and maintains the System Criticality Questionnaire (SCQ) process
  • Establish and document work processes according to best practices and standards for configuration management database (CMDB) and ensure data accuracy and alignment with SCQ ratings and IT Assets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integration of CMDB information with Incident, Problem and Change management process.
  • Support IT Asset management policies, procedures and standards
  • Support regular audit to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Support Annual Business Continuity Exercises.
  • Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and contribute to risk culture and audit participation.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people who

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience with IT Asset Management • Strong understanding of IT compliance, audit processes, and risk management.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proficient in documentation and process mapping.
  • Experience working with multiple teams (business, IT application and infrastructure teams) for IT Asset Management and CMDB processes
  • Experience with MicroFocus Asset Management and ServiceNow CMDB is a plus.
  • Demonstrates alignment with the organisation’s core values through expected behaviours
  • Knowledge of generative AI for IT operations (e.g., automated change plans, anomaly detection).
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills to champion for culture change management initiatives within IT and with interfacing Business stakeholders
  • Strong and factual communication skills and able to manage situations/conflicts and influence others.
  • Good analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving and provide options and solutions.
