Job description

Lead the implementation of IT and automation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Manage the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of software and hardware systems in a manufacturing environment.

Oversee machine integration and Recipe Management System (RMS), ensuring reliable communication between machines and IT systems.

Supervise system enhancement initiatives, including development, testing (functional, integration, regression), and deployment of new features.

Provide guidance and support to the IT/Automation team, and act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.

Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer and audit compliance.

Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, IT) and external vendors to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and ensure timely project delivery.

Monitor system performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and recommend technology upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT support, system integration, or automation within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and automation technologies, including Windows/Linux environments.

Experience with programming languages (C#, Java, VB.NET) and database management (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).

Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred and an added advantage.

Job Description

Support the implementation of IT and automation projects, including gathering functional requirements, preparing technical documentation, and providing system training to users.

Perform installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of both software and hardware systems within the factory environment.

Support machine integration and recipe management system (RMS), including troubleshooting communication between machines and IT systems.

Assist in system enhancements using C# or other tools as needed; perform testing such as functional, integration, and regression testing.

Provide daily user support including on-site troubleshooting, user guidance, and follow-up on system-related issues or requests.

Document system configurations, support procedures, user manuals, and testing records to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and audit compliance.

Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, production, IT), and vendors to ensure timely delivery of tasks and smooth system operation.
