IT Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and maintenance of the hardware and software.
• Provide daily operation, system and user support.
• Control the usage of I.T. resources and conduct users’ training.
• Maintain and update records for daily activities and user information.
• Filing and updating documents for Document Control for ISO files.
• Manage and administer data center operation such as backup, maintenance, media and etc.
• Provide report on performance, errors and other management report as required by Manager.
• Data Missing Route input (if there is any).
• Assist in Monitoring of data center server performance.
• Diagnosis of Hardware and software for related company use (if there is any).
• Any other task / jobs assigned by Superior or Department Head as and when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in IT or equivalent.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology will be an added advantage though not required.
• Experience in applications such as MS Office, Internet Browsers, e-mails, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in PC Maintenance/ Assemble and troubleshooting of common PC problems and support.
• Familiar with installation/ programming of PC, especially in Windows OS family, Ms Office, TCP/ IP Protocol and ERP environment.
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge in Visual Basic, SQL, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and Graphics Designing will be an added advantage.
• Possess own transportation.
