Supercomal Medical Products – Kota, Kedah

  • Provide daily technical support to end-users for Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and office applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Handle basic to intermediate networking tasks such as IP configuration, LAN/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, VLAN understanding, and cabling checks.
  • Assist in monitoring network performance and reporting connectivity issues to the IT team or vendors.
  • Support configuration and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, access points) under guidance from senior IT staff.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patch updates, antivirus checks, and system backups.
  • Assist with user account creation, password resets, permission assignments, and basic server access tasks (AD, shared folders, etc.).
  • Assist in managing NAS (Synology/QNAP) systems including shared folder setup, permissions, user access, quota management, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Monitor NAS health, disk status, storage capacity, and backup jobs, and report issues promptly.
  • Support backup and restore operations on NAS, including scheduled backups and verifying consistency.
  • Support installation, configuration, and deployment of new IT equipment and software.
  • Maintain IT documentation such as inventory list, network diagrams, support tickets, and incident logs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, ISP issues, and technical purchases.
  • Provide on‑site support for meetings, video conferencing systems, and internal applications.
  • Assist in IT projects such as network upgrades, system migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing fundamentals).
  • Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, access points, and firewalls is an advantage.

  • Ability to perform hardware diagnostics, replace components, and handle system setup.
  • Experience with AD user management, shared folder permissions, and basic server tasks is a plus.
  • Experience with NAS systems (Synology/QNAP), including shared folder management, access control, and basic backup configuration, is an added advantage.
  • Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle multiple support requests efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
  • Willing to learn, adapt, and support IT operations during off‑hours when required.
