Job description

Responsible for in-process quality control as assigned. Development and maintenance in-process quality control related standards. Supervise team to meet group goal and drive continuous improvement among Cross functional team for in-process quality control. Develop new material / process/ product/ equipment qualification plan and coordinate quality qualification.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

Develop and implement procedures, processes and methods promoting prevention techniques and continuous improvement within the organization and with external customers and suppliers.

Employs statistical analysis and design of experiment to analyze methods of inspection, testing and product quality.

Evaluate new materials and qualify machines or modifications carried out in the manufacturing line that requires QA approval and ensure that these introductions or changes have no adverse effect on the product quality.

Support new product introduction quality control activities as per assigned.

Performs audits of management systems and operational procedures and customer audit prior to customer visit/audit throughout the organization. Reports results and recommends opportunities for improvement.

Coordinates with other departments regarding customer complaints, quality of parts, inspection processes and product quality problem and follow up on the corrective action and its implementation status.

Where deem necessary, initiate the defect containment activities through suspending the delivery/warehousing/production.

Identify important quality problems and work with team for process compliance improvement.

Prepare QAP for QA related activities including the implementation of ECR and subsequently revise and update changes as per the procedures for document control.

Timely issue of QA Report to inform the quality situation of each process to the related department.

Provides the training for subordinates and contractors (if any), in the Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems, where necessary.

To carry out assignments and assist QA Manager and above in overall quality assurance activities as per required.

To ensure that quality activities performed by incumbent and subordinates (if any) fall in line with MS ISO 9001 and ISO 14001/45001 procedures.

Requirement

Education : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Science or equivalent.

Experience : At least 1-5 year(s) of working experience in the QC field at semiconductor field is required

Skill :QC 7 Tools, SPC, FMEA.

Special Requirement : Strong knowledge and exposure in semiconductor processes and familiar with ISO9001, ISO 14001/45001 requirement
