Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support services, including installation, administration, configuration, and applying patches or upgrades for middleware products.
• Monitor middleware services, perform diagnostics, and optimize performance.
• Handle application deployments and provide production support.
• Develop and maintain technical, system, and operational documentation.
• Offer 24/7 on‑call support for production environments as needed.

Qualifications

A successful IP Senior Middleware Engineer should have:

• At least 2 years of practical experience administering Infoblox NIOS DNS appliance 9.0.x, including Response Policy Zone and Access Control List configuration.
• Strong knowledge of SSL certificate operations, including generation, renewal, and tools such as OpenSSL and Java Keytool.
• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting (Korn, bash) and Perl.
• Solid understanding of Java EE web architecture, Enterprise Java Beans, application server clustering, performance tuning, and JMX monitoring.
• Familiarity with CORBA architecture.
• Experience in C++, Java programming, and SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self‑motivated, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Cantonese and business English; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
