A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated stock controller to manage incoming goods, update stock records, and ensure timely delivery of required parts. Responsibilities include supporting inventory accuracy, coordinating with logistics partners, and managing documentation for compliance. Fresh graduates with a diploma are encouraged to apply, especially if adept at using Excel and possessing good communication skills. The role involves physical tasks, requiring fitness for lifting and handling goods.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods based on delivery orders and purchase orders.
Update stock records promptly, especially for spare parts and project-specific components.
Ensure required parts are delivered to respective teams without delay.
Maintain proper labeling and organization of spare parts within the storage area.
Conduct periodic inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
Support material issuance and ensure traceability of parts used for each project.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store area.
Coordinate with forwarding agents on import/export arrangements and customs clearance.
Manage SST exemption documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays, issues, or discrepancies.
Liaise with logistics partners for deliveries, pickups, and shipping schedules.
Handle ad-hoc logistics and inventory-related tasks as required.
At least Diploma in any field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of receiving and stock control processes.
Able to use computer applications such as Excel or simple inventory systems.
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Physically fit to handle moderate lifting and movement of goods.
