Responsibilities

• Receive drawings requests from superior on a daily basis.
• Attend daily designer check-ins and update drawing progress.
• Work closely with the sales team and detailer regarding design and planning.

Job description

Undertake the design project from concept to completion.

Visiting project sites to study space availability, design needs and purpose of the space.

Attending meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colours.

Conceptualize and sketch design plans.

Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices.

Creating initial design sketches, colour themes and ideas based on client requirements.

Working closely with contractors, vendors to implement design ideas such as Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians etc.

Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline

Skill Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor / Diploma in Interior Design / Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Proven working experience in designing and decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning etc.)
• Creativity and expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD, AiHouse, Kujiale, 3D Max, SketchUp or other 3D software.
• Able to generate detailed section drawings and attention to details.
• Able to handle clients and projects independently.
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.
• Good in communication and presentation skills.

Job Descriptions

• To receive drawings request from direct superior on daily basis.
• To attend daily designer check-in and update drawings progress for each project.
• To work closely with direct superior / sales team / detailer / KP pertaining to drawing design, space planning, technical requirement etc.
• Constantly updated on trends and improvement in interior designing to enhance the design concept and overall drawing perspective.
• To complete the drawings as per the required deadline.
• To comply the drawings following the client requirement.
• To submit weekly / monthly reports to HOD.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Management.
