A construction firm in Malaysia is seeking an Inspector of Works to assist in day-to-day activities at an active construction site. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture with 2-5 years of experience. Assist the Consultants with the Day to Day Activities of an Active Construction Site
Obtain, Organize & Maintain Construction Documents on a Lot by Lot Basis
Maintain the Confidentiality of Corporate Information, Policies and Procedures;
Uphold and Adhere to Corporate Policies to Ensure a Clean and Safe Workplace
Ensure approved materials are used, and correct methods and workmanships are adopted by Contractor.
Witness testing of all materials and work done as per the date and time requested by Contractor.
Taking note of the site instructions and any other relevant directives on the drawings used in the inspection, to ensure that they are taken into account.
Prepare a written list of any points that may require attention, in concurrence with the Consultants, where the Contractor has requested the inspection. The Inspector of Work is to check the points have been rectified or agreed to before the work is covered, as the case may be.
To coordinate between the project site and HQ office.
Create and maintain proper indexes for documents filled in records.
To maintain accurate records of meetings, correspondence, and project-related information.
