Overview

We are currently looking for an Industrial Engineering Manager for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.

Based in Selangor

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization & Efficiency:
  • Lead the analysis of current production processes, workflows, and facility layouts to identify and eliminate waste.
  • Develop, design, and implement improved manufacturing methods to increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), reduce cycle times, and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and value stream mapping to streamline operations.
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Champion and drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives across the plant.
  • Lead Kaizen events and projects focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and waste elimination.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, and quality, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Resource Management & Planning:
  • Conduct capacity analysis and manpower planning to support production targets and new product introductions (NPI).
  • Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, or automation solutions to improve production efficiency and safety.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines for all industrial engineering projects.
• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Supervise, mentor, and train a team of industrial engineers and technicians.
  • Foster a proactive and problem-solving culture within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Maintenance, to implement changes and new systems.

Qualifications

• Possess experience in metal stamping, mechanical assembly, EMS, contract manufacturing, or industrial machinery manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
