Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Malaysia is seeking a qualified individual with a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the EMS - PCBA manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Lean Management, ISO QMS 9001, and be able to interface with various teams. Responsibilities include training production employees, developing SOPs, and improving production processes. Fluent Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work with product engineer on new product NPI stage for process set up.
• Develop and prepare WI & SOP for relevant process stations.
• Improve line balancing to obtain best production output.
• Provide training on process stations to production employees.
• Implement productivity and safety improvements in the working environment.
• Interface with production on new process implementation.

Skills

Knowledge of Lean Management

• Knowledge of how various systems interact and how changes in operations, environment and other conditions will affect outcomes.
• Knowledge of ISO QMS 9001 management.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge in capacity, productivity, manufacturing process and product costing.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with product engineer on new product NPI stage for process set up arrangement.

• New production process set up with effectiveness control plan meeting quality target.
• Implement and improve the productivity and safety working environment.
• Interface with production on all activities associated with new process implementation & transfer.
• Set up production line by Lean manufacturing concept.
• Work by following ISO QMS management.
• Support BU on new products/models' new inquiries on process & cycle time improvement.
• Maintain the working area always in a good 5S & safety working environment.
• Any assignment as and when required by the company.
