The Role:

• To assist in preparation and submission the relevant valuation and statistical reports to regulators and internal parties.
• Perform user acceptance testing on valuation data from policy administration system.
• Perform user acceptance test for DCS & Prophet modelling.
• Prepare product, compliance & risk assessment.
• Enhancement on reports and current process flow.
• Perform annual experience study.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
• Other responsibilities entailed.

The Person:

• Possessed a recognized Tertiary in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studies Professional
• Passed some actuarial exams in Faculty of Actuaries, Scotland / Institute of Actuaries, England / Institute of Actuaries, Australia / Society of Actuaries, US.
• Professional actuarial standards and code of conduct.
• Good communication skills - written and verbal.
• Project management skills & Sound actuarial principles.
• Fresh graduate can be considered but with good results.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
