Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional for a permanent Customer Engineering role. The position involves providing technical support to customers, managing communication, and addressing engineering queries. Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering assistance to customers for technical queries and maintenance recommendations.
  • Analyze in-service events to identify potential impacts and corrective actions.
  • Investigate emerging hot topics affecting the fleet and define corrective actions.
  • Manage customer communication in various contexts over the phone and in person.
  • Support regional fleet management with technical presentations on-site.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering assistance to customers for technical queries, troubleshooting, maintenance recommendations and aircraft design understanding within defined time scale and good quality.
  • Analyze in‑service events to identify potential impacts, launch appropriate corrective action and ensure proper follow‑up with the relevant customer services organization.
  • Investigate emerging hot topics affecting the fleet and specific customers and define with fleet managers and central teams the associated corrective actions (mitigation & terminating solutions).
  • Manage customer communication at various hierarchical levels and in different contexts: over the phone, in person, during troubleshooting on aircraft or during airline events (fleet review meetings, workshops, expert forums, regional conferences).
  • Support regional fleet management and provide technical presentations during face‑to‑face meetings with customers on‑site.
Technical Scope
  • ATA 32 Braking and Steering Systems
  • ATA 32 Landing Gear Systems
Travel & Availability

Regular international travels for business, especially in Asia Pacific and Europe. Willing to travel. May be required to take a few turns on team stand‑by to support AOG cases outside of normal business hours.
