A construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender documents, manage budgets, and ensure project efficiency. Ideal candidates should possess a Diploma in QS and have experience in Interior Design. Proficiency in Mandarin for client communication is essential. This position offers opportunities for fresh graduates as well, along with flexible work arrangements and employee benefits including health insurance and project incentives.
To prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
To account costing within budget.
To procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
To select, source materials and issue Purchase Order.
To liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site supervisor, subcontractors, suppliers.
To measure and value the work done on site.
To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
To attend sitemeeting.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in QS, with working experience in Interior Design and Joinery works are encouraged to apply.
Computer literate, preferably Microsoft Excel, Word & Project
Posses experience in ID field is preferable.
Able to liaise with clients , sub-contractors & attend site meetings
Able to work independently under minimum supervision
Able to handle multiple projects in short period
Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Willing to work in Kelana Jaya and possess own transport.
