Job description
About the Company

Randstad is currently partnering with a distinguished IT & Tech Consulting firm that has established a strong regional footprint. As the company matures, the complexity of their financial structure has increased, creating a need for a specialized finance lead. Our client is moving beyond simple growth; they are focused on establishing rigorous financial governance and reporting standards. They are looking for a technical expert to act as the custodian of their financial data, ensuring that as the business scales, the numbers remain accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready.

The Role

You will manage the consolidation of multiple entities, ensure adherence to accounting standards, and lead the financial reporting process for the Group. You will be the first line of defense for internal controls and the main point of contact for external auditors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Group Consolidation
    • Multi-Entity Management: Execute the monthly group consolidation process for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate inter‑company eliminations and foreign currency translations.
    • System Integrity: Manage the integrity of the financial consolidation system, ensuring all sub‑ledgers reconcile with the general ledger.
    • Structure: Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure standardized accounting treatments across all entities.
  2. Financial Reporting
    • Statutory & Management: Prepare and submit timely monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS/MFRS.
    • Board Packs: Produce clear, accurate financial decks for the Board of Directors, focusing on variance analysis between actuals vs. budget from a reporting perspective.
    • Tax & Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect tax filings (SST, CIT) and ensure all statutory deadlines are met without exception.
  3. Audit & Governance
    • Audit Lead: act as the primary liaison for external auditors; manage the end‑to‑end audit schedule, resolve audit queries, and ensure a clean audit report.
    • Internal Controls: Review and strengthen internal control policies (SOPs) to mitigate financial risk and ensure strict corporate governance.
Key Requirements
  • Professional Qualification: Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or ICAEW).
  • Technical Background: Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong foundation in Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting.
  • Audit Experience: Candidates with a background in Big 4 Audit firms are highly preferred.
  • Knowledge: Deep, up-to‑date knowledge of IFRS/MFRS and local tax laws.
  • Personality: You are deadline‑driven, highly organized, and possess strict attention to detail. You prefer structure and compliance over ambiguity.
