Job summary

A leading trading and transport company in Klang City is seeking an experienced HR Manager to develop HR strategies, oversee recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with labor laws. You will be responsible for improving organizational productivity and managing employee relations effectively. Preferred candidates will have a strong background in HR strategy development and payroll management, with a good understanding of Malaysian labor regulations.

Job description
  1. Develop overall HR strategy aligned with business goals.
  2. Plan yearly manpower needs in coordination with Management and Operations.
  3. Improve organizational structure and workforce productivity.
  4. Oversee full-cycle recruitment to ensure timely hiring.
  5. Define job descriptions, selection criteria and interview standards.
  6. Implement employer branding and hiring channels.
  7. Manage employee grievances, counselling, domestic inquiries and misconduct investigations.
  8. Maintain compliance with Employment Act, IR practices and labour regulations.
  9. Strengthen discipline, attendance control and maintain industrial harmony.
  10. Develop annual training calendar and HRDC claims.
  11. Oversee onboarding, induction and staff development programs.
  12. Collaborate with Safety/Operations to implement safety compliance and driver training.
  13. Supervise monthly payroll accuracy, benefits, allowances and statutory contributions.
  14. Implement and manage HRIS system.
  15. Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and labour law.
  16. Develop and implement HR policies & SOPs.
  17. Ensure HR documentation is updated and audit-ready.
  18. Update Employee Handbook and maintain HR records.
  19. Implement KPI frameworks and appraisal systems.
  20. Support department heads in managing performance and PIP (Performance Improvement Plans)
  21. Prepare monthly HR dashboard and employee pulse
  22. Advise management on workforce trends and risks
