About the role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Manager to lead the management and optimization of our internal HR systems and applications. This role supports a customized HR technology environment and ensures the accuracy, security, and effectiveness of employee data and reporting. The HRIS Manager partners closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver reliable systems that support business and people strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather business requirements and lead system planning, development, testing, and implementation.
- Manage and maintain HR databases, including data integrity, security, backups, and system configurations.
- Oversee the accurate recording and processing of employee data, including payroll, working hours, and leave balances.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, performance metrics).
- Supervise daily HRIS operations and ensure system availability and performance.
- Identify system and program requirements and align solutions with business objectives and HR processes.
- Partner with IT to conduct system assessments, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
- Configure, enhance, and modify HRIS applications to meet evolving organizational needs.
- Stay current on HR technology trends, data management practices, and information security standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in database management or a related discipline, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., Data Protection).
- Hands‑on experience with HR systems, including payroll and employee data management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Strong technical knowledge of database design, administration, and information systems.
- Experience working with at least one commercial HRIS platform.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.
