A local HR service provider in Malacca is looking for a skilled HR Administrator to uphold HR standards and support employee relations. The role involves maintaining records, assisting in onboarding new hires, and coordinating offboarding processes. An ideal candidate has a diploma in HR or Business Administration, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and has strong organizational skills. Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in HR administrative tasks, including record keeping, data entry, and file management.
Basic understanding of Malaysian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Knowledge of benefits administration is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new HR technologies and processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
Support the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans, by processing enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing termination paperwork, and ensuring the return of company property.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing reports.
Support employee relations activities, such as organizing company events and addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
