About the role

The People Service Executive is responsible for delivering efficient administrative support and maintaining effective systems and procedures to serve internal customers. The role ensures smooth day-to-day site operations and fosters positive employee relations across all levels.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage plant attendance and ensure accuracy for payroll processing.
  • Administer biometric systems (finger/face scan) and personal lockers.
  • Generate reports on working hours non-compliance and unproductive time.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and audit requirements.
  • Monitor outsourced vendors’ adherence to ethical audit standards.
  • Conduct induction for outsourced employees and support onboarding.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Handle renewal of plant licenses and local authority documents.
  • Participate in audits and inspections (e.g., lockers, hostels).
  • Organize sports, recreational activities, and festive events.
  • Serve as committee member for Safety Committee & SWRC.
  • Execute cross-functional and ad-hoc tasks as instructed.
  • Communicate effectively between superior and relevant parties.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure quality, health, and safety standards are met.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration / Human Resources or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as people services or a related role. Exposure to a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
  • Good capabilities of handling the tasks/projects independently and have courage to deal with different levels of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of labour law and ethical audit requirements.
