Job summary

A leading power solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for an experienced HR professional to oversee operations and implement HR policies. You will support the building of a modern HR function, work closely with department heads, and drive employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of HR experience, preferably in structured environments, and excellent communication skills. A fast-growing power solutions provider with operations across Southeast Asia is undergoing an exciting transformation toward a more structured and corporatised environment. With over 100 employees across multiple plants and offices, the organisation is building a modern HR function to support rapid expansion.

What You Will Do
HR Operations & Systems
  • Oversee HR operations including payroll coordination, claims, timekeeping and employee records.

  • Champion adoption and optimisation of the HR management system across all locations.

  • Streamline and standardise HR processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

People & Talent Management
  • Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and frameworks for performance, progression and development.

  • Partner with department heads on talent planning, performance management and workforce needs.

Organisational Development & Support
  • Support leadership in building a more structured, scalable HR function.

  • Work closely with Group HR and an interim Head of HR during the transition phase.

  • Contribute to employee engagement, communications and culture-building initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in HR operations, with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience.

  • Background in corporate or structured environments preferred.

  • Comfortable working across both office and plant/manufacturing settings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
